Live Nation Lushington proudly announces one of the most exciting new bands of the day – THE VAMPSThe Vamps with very special guests The Tide will perform live in Singapore and Hong Kong for the very first time. They perform in Singapore on Tuesday, 26 January 2016 at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa, then head to Hong Kong to perform at the AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 10 on Thursday, 28 January 2016. Tickets for both shows go on sale Saturday, 7 November.

When James McVey (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Brad Simpson (lead vocals, guitar) first started writing music a few years ago, little did they know that along with soon-to-be-found new members Tristan Evans (drums) and Connor Ball (bass) The Vamps would soon become one of the UK’s biggest exports in music.

The Vamps only released their debut album just over a year ago, and have gone on to have five top ten hits in the UK and sold out a multiple number of arena shows - not bad for a group of lads that just wanted to make music.

Following a successful debut support slot for McFly in 2013, came the release of their debut single Can We Dance. The song went to #2 in the charts and within two weeks of the video being released earlier on, it had already received over 1 million views. They went on to reveal Wild Heart (the first original song that the boys actually put up on YouTube) which peaked at #3.

The Vamps have picked up a phenomenal amount of success since their launch. Their debut album Meet The Vamps went multi-platinum in a huge number of countries across the globe and charted at #2 in the UK. The album contains hits such as Last Night which also hit #2 in the charts, Somebody To You (with Demi Lovato) which went Top 5 and a cover of the classic Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart) with YouTube sensation Shawn Mendes. In 2014, The Vamps won a whopping three awards in the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, Friday Download’s Best Breakthrough, Best British Group and Best British Single for Last Night.

Their online stats are equally impressive - Can We Dance has clocked up over 42 million YouTube views, Wild Heart over 25 million, Last Night over 22 million views, Somebody To You over 81 million views and Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart) picked up 34 million. Their channel has already tipped 218 million total views and signed up over 1.2 million subscribers. They frequently trend around the world on Twitter, and their Facebook has over 5.3 million likes.

The Vamps sold out two shows at the iconic O2 Arena in London; the first of which in just 45 minutes. With a world tour, plus the second album to come, The Vamps are showing no signs of slowing down.Brad reveals, “We are so excited for the future, and that just makes us want to get even better at what we do. Making music is what we set out to do, and making more music is what we’re going to keep on doing.

If worldwide success wasn’t enough, the boys have now added a record label to their repertoire. Their first signing to the label is American teen guitar band The Tide. The Tide are Drew Dirksen (lead guitar & vocals), Levi Jones (bass & vocals), Nate Parks (drums) and Austin Corini (guitar & vocals). It started when The Vamps and their management (Prestige) saw Austin on X Factor USA. The Vamps started working with Austin who wanted to form a band, and they discovered Nate, Drew and Levi through cover virals on YouTube. The Tide are set to release their debut album and single in 2016.
